Recover emails from a drive or disk

If the Outlook Express data files have been stored in a drive or disk in the past, but you cannot retrieve or access them now due to various reasons, then you can use Advanced Outlook Express Data Recovery to scan the drive or disk and recover the emails from it, as follows:

1.start AOEDR.
2.In "Recovery" page, in "Select drive or disk to be scanned" combo box, select the drive or disk you wan to scan and recover the Outlook Express emails. If you have plugged in or out some removable drives, you can click the refresh button refreshbtn to refresh the drives and disks in the combo box list.
3.Specify a destination directory in "Output recovered messages to:" text box. All the recovered emails will be saved to this directory. TO PREVENT OVERWRITING YOUR OUTLOOK EXPRESS DATA ON THE SOURCE DRIVE OR DISK, PLEASE DO NOT SELECT AN OUTPUT FOLDER ON THE SOURCE DRIVE OR DISK.
4.Click "Start Recovery" button to start the recovery process. You will see the change in progress bar. If you want to abort the recovery process, click the "Stop Recovery" button.
5.After the recovery process, all the emails recovered from the drives or disks will be saved to the destination directory. Then you can import these emails into Outlook Express.
6.You can click the "Save Log" button to save the recovery log into a file. You can include additional information in the log file by selecting the "Include System Information" option in the save file dialog. These information can help our technical supports to diagnose your system and solve your problems more efficiently.
Note:
AS SOON AS THE DATA DISASTER HAPPENS ON YOUR OUTLOOK EXPRESS DATA LOCATED IN THE SOURCE DRIVE OR DISK, PLEASE DO NOT WRITE OR CHANGE ANY DATA ON THAT DRIVE OR DISK. AOEDR WILL ONLY READ DATA FROM THAT DRIVE OR DISK AND WILL NEVER WRITE OR CHANGE ANY DATA ON IT!
TO PREVENT OVERWRITING YOUR OUTLOOK EXPRESS DATA ON THE SOURCE DRIVE OR DISK, PLEASE DO NOT SELECT AN OUTPUT FOLDER ON THE SOURCE DRIVE OR DISK.

In addition, you will see a messagebox after the recovery process, where you can click the "Show Recovery Report" button and see a report of all the recoverable messages in the drives or disks.
