Click "Repair" tab in the dialog, you can start repairing a corrupted DBF file:

1.If the DBF file has an accompanying DBT or FPT file, put it into the same directory as the DBF file.
2.Input or select the corrupted DBF file to be repaired. You may also click the search button find to search and select the DBF files to be repaired in the local computer.
3.If you know the version of the DBF file, please specify it in the combo box. If you do not specify the version, DDBFR will determine it automatically.
4.Specify the new file name in "Output fixed file as:" text box. After the corrupted file has been repaired, a new fixed one with the given name is generated.
5.Click "Start Repair" button to start the repair process. You will see the change in progress bar. If you want to abort the repair process, click the "Stop Repair" button.
6.After the repair process, you can click the "Save Log" button to save the repair log into a file. You can include additional information in the log file by selecting the "Include System Information" option in the save file dialog. These information can help our technical supports to diagnose your system and solve your problems more efficiently.
Note:
If you are using a demo version of DDBFR, then it can repair your file and if the file can be repaired successfully, you will see a messagebox after the reparation, where you can click the "Show Reparation Report" button and see all the recovered records in the DBF file. However, it will not generate a fixed file. Only the full version will generate the fixed file.
